Kara was so shocked by Bonnie’s words that she couldn’t speak. She turned her head stiffly to look at Shepard’s flawless and handsome face.

threatened to make her life a living hell!
Kara gritted her teeth in despair, and the wound on her arm began to ache again, but this pain was nothing compared to the pain in her heart!
She was the daughter of the Smith family. When had she ever suffered such humiliation?!

Shepard looked stern, “Bonnie is a patient now. Don’t come at her.”
“Ms. Brown!” Barret said suddenly, “Bonnie was so guilty that she cut her wrist, but you’re still treating her like this!”
Kara ignored Barret and stared at Shepard indifferently.
“What about me? Am I a patient? Who is your wife?” Perhaps due to the aftereffects of the car accident, Kara suddenly felt dizzy. When she asked these questions, she sounded powerless.
She felt as if her heart was being clenched tightly by a big hand, and it was so painful that she could hardly breathe.
Why had she fallen in love with this man in the first place?
Some hearts couldn’t be warmed up. After being stupid for so long, it was time for her to wake up.
She struggled to break free from Shepard’s hand. She hated- him as much as she had loved him!
She was heartbroken at this moment.
“Oh! You were so guilty that you cut your wrist and committed suicide?” Kara sneered at herself. She stopped looking at Shepard and cast her disdainful eyes on Bonnie on the hospital bed.
Bonnie had always been arrogant in front of her but pretended to be weak and innocent in front of Shepard. At this moment, Bonnie turned her back to Shepard with a faint triumphant smile on her face.
